Testing Neosys
Everytime NEOSYS gets a new version it must be tested thoroughly for all its features to ensure NEOSYS credibility to clients. Lightning Test is a quick test of NEOSYS where all essential features mostly used by Clients must be tested. Tests for each module must be carried out by logging in as different users.
Lightning Test for Media
- Create a new plan; check 'Plan Look up' and 'copying from a plan/schedule'.
- Take a plan printout and make use of filters on the screen.
- Create a new schedule; check all options like Schedule Lookup, copy from plan/copy from schedule.
- Use shortcut keys like tab/f9/f7 etc while creating the schedule.
- Add vehicles with notes/rate cards.
- Enter discount/fee for the vehicles and make sure it gets reflected in the cost/bill.
- Create free ads and check the reports.
- Book/certify/Invoice ads.
- Generate media diary/progress summary.
- Do cancellations and generate credit notes.
Lightning Test for Jobs
- Create new Job; check Job Lookup/copy a job
- Enter all details, look up for JobTypes
- Use shortcut keys tab/f9/f7
- Create Purchase Order/Estimates
- Generate invoice in Estimates and check if its reflected correctly in Purchase order.
- Enter supplier invoice for Purchase orders and verify all the details in the Job file.
- Create Credit Notes
- Take job/PO/Estimate printout.
- Minutely verify reports to check data consistency
- Generate "List of Jobs pending estimates","List of Jobs with WIP/Accrued Cost"
Lightning Test for Timesheets
- Edit the Configuration/Activity file
- Create new activities in the Activity file
- Create a new Timesheet for a user, test each and every field on the timesheet file
- Take Timesheet prinouts and test all the options available
- Check Approval/Reminder emails according to the users in the Configuration file.
- Generate Timesheet Analysis report using various filters.
- Save the report in Excel and verify the records present.
- Create a new user in the Authorisation File and save it
- Edit and save the System Configuration File
- Edit and save the User Details page. Check whether Signature Upload is working correctly.
